Paperless office

• Our orders, communications and marketing are now paperless. We sign for deliveries digitally and we send paperwork via email.
• Our only printing now is to create address labels.

Conscious deliveries

We use three main delivery companies, depending on the size and weight of what is being sent. Collectively they:

• Fully optimise routes to ensure maximum deliveries are made within the shortest distance possible
• Use aero dynamic fuel-efficient vehicles that are regularly maintained and serviced
• Are committed to a waste recycling scheme which includes recycling shrink wrap, paper, cardboard, scrap metal and ink cartridges
• Provide a collection and delivery service in one go, eliminating a second journey and reducing mileage

In house electricity

• We have solar panels on the roof of our warehouse which help us reduce our carbon footprint
• We have sensor lighting in various areas of the building to reduce energy usage

Reduce Reuse Recycle

• We recycle all the packaging that we can and reuse packaging where possible and appropriate. That may mean that your order comes in a package that may have had a previous life!
• Any scrap products that we pick up are delivered in bulk to The Appliance Recycling Group. They are a carbon neutral company who are passionate about recycling appliances. They either repair products and fully test them to a high standard to send them on for a second life, or fully recycle them, breaking them down into ‘material crumbs’ known as recyclates. The recyclates are then separated using magnets, water and air so that the produce clean piles of material, which are then bagged and can go back into making new appliances. They ensure that materials are of the highest quality.
